The Series "Ella's Playground"

With the Children Series "Ella's Playground" Domus Patris opens a new field of cooperation. The Russian Studio "Bible and Today" under the direction of Leonid Sergienko  originally produced the series, and Domus Patris made the first elaboration of this charming puppet show in English.

In 60 episodes the series proposes the major stories of the Bible to our youngest audience, children between 3 and 10 years. The puppets are built especially for this purpose, following classic Russian puppet techniques. The colourful but well composed and simple decoration sets are constructed specifically for the fast and easy grasp of the children's mind, in order to ensure a good understanding of the stories.

The embedded songs are especially composed for children, melodies and texts are easily memorized also by youngest children.

Up to now the series was only transmitted in Russian TV Stations, in cooperation with the Russian Patriarchate, but we hope to conquer the children's hearts in the Western countries thanks to this new English edition.

We hope that you will enjoy and appreciate the puppet show, anyhow we would appreciate any comment on it. You can contact us with the below contact button.

Episode 2: "Joy of Christmas"

This episode "Joy of Christmas" was produced originally in 2005, written by Elvira Matskova and directed by Julia Sergienko. In cooperation with "Bible and Today" Domus Patris  proposes the English version of the first episodes of this charming series to a larger audience. This particular episode is one of the 4 ones treating especially the mystery of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and the true meaning of Christmas Celebration.

Beautiful scene-sets derived from the Gospel are intertwined with the dialogue between Ella, the main hero of the series, and the little angel who comes to Ella in order to help her explaining the true meaning of Christmas to our little friends.

Besides the story of the birth of Christ this episode wants to teach the children that the most important aspect of Christmas is not to receive gifts, but to give joy to the others, sometimes with a little gift, sometimes just with a friendly word or a smile.
