A Children's Educational Program [0:57]
A group of children express their feelings towards a song through singing, painting, dancing, bringing together the content of the song and the emotion of their reaction, animating their interpretation with expressive gestures for a deeper understanding of the song’s words and messages: this is the innovative programme proposed for amusing children and developing their creative attitudes whilst teaching positive values and behaviours through playing.
Dedicated to children aged 4-8, and to their parents and teachers, the programme can help adults to attract the interest and amusement of children, involving them not only in singing but also in personal painting and movement – as opposed to the passive reception demanded by mainstream TV Programmes.
The format of Canta Colora Balla
The performers and their hosts (children aged 4-8) have a relevant role to play in all songs, expressly made for children, many purposefully designed for educational purposes. As a first step the performers explain the song and play it in an interactive way.
