Il giorno 19 marzo di un anno fa, nella festa di S. Giuseppe cui era particolarmente devoto, don Stefano Varnavà ci ha lasciati per salire alla Casa del Padre.
Gioioso e ottimista come i suoi canti, uomo interiormente libero da ogni compromesso e profondamente umile, ha vissuto il suo sacerdozio con amore e apertura totali verso la Parola di Dio, che sempre traspariva nelle sue omelie, nei suoi canti, nella sua ricca e stimolante conversazione.
A lui, che ora compone il canto senza fine di lode al Signore, dedichiamo questo semplice ricordo, un canto e una testimonianza della sua esperienza vissuta con il suo amato coro.
