The beatification process of doctor Friedrich Joseph Haass is in progress, as many Muscovite desire and support, told F. Wilfried Wehling at the Cultural Center "Pokrovsky gates", better known as “Spiritual Library”.
On 20 October, 2009 there was a presentation of the film "Doctor Haass" produced by the studio "Domus Patris". During the wide and moving discussion, the audience shared their thoughts and sometimes also their personal experiences about the life and fate of this famous German doctor. He is nearly unknown in his own country, but beloved in Russia, where he was named Fyodor Petrovich Gaaz by his contemporaries.
