Weeping Mountain
At the light of Mount Ararat [3:25]
The “Weeping Mountain” music was written by Tigran Gabrielyan specifically for the movie «My Ararat», which includes only part of it.
Writing this song the author kept in mind a precise red thread: every morning every old Armenian man looks at the Ararat mountain, recalls the tragic events of the early 20th century (mainly the genocide by Turkish), recalls the history of his family and cries.
Thus was born the idea of creating a piece of art on Armenian roots.
