Film's Description
Leader of a secret anti-Soviet group of revolutionary communism, Oleg Senin was arrested in 1970, brought to trial and sentenced to imprisonment in a concentration camp. In prison, living under harsh conditions, he lost his sight but discovered the value of life with new eyes, those of faith. Once outside the concentration camp, Oleg decided not to become a priest because under the Soviet regime, all orthodox priests had to collaborate with the KGB, but he became an extraordinary preacher. At the present, he works as an educator for catechists.The story is told by the protagonist in the first person and is documented with exclusive archival pictures; for added effect, the film is rounded off with dramatizations of scenes that highlight certain passages of the protagonist’s story.
